| Five
Islands Farm is a charming Farm Market located on the perimeter of the quaint fishing village of Five Islands, Maine. The farm was a working farm until
sometime in the 1950's, so many of
our
locals still remember helping out in the gardens, having fresh milk,
eggs and produce delivered by horse and wagon, or simply stopping by
for a cool glass of water and a friendly chat!
Although the property is now too small to support a working farm we do grow some fresh cut herbs, and work closely with local farms, cheese makers and producers to supply you with what you need. At Five Islands Farm you will always find a friendly atmosphere, a warm greeting and delicious foods to enjoy as a picnic or to make your meals memorable throughout your entire stay. Here you will find what you need to create a fabulous meal or appealing appetizers for a summer evening! |
Enjoy
all that our beautiful island has to offer... The island of Georgetown is the home of
Reid State Park, one of
the
most beautiful parks in the state. There you will find
spectacular beaches and peaceful hiking trails. We also have wonderful
B&Bs, Georgetown Pottery Shop, as well as a famous Lobster Wharf,
& Marinas. (Find
links at other places.)
How to find us... By
land... the market
is
easily found near the end of Route 127 South at 1375 Five Islands
Road. From Rt.1 north or south take Rt. 127 South (Near the Dairy
Queen north of Bath). Follow 127 South for about 11 miles. Continue straight on
127, Five Islands
Farm is on the
right
one mile beyond the American Flag painted on the rock at the
intersection of Sequinland Rd.

moved to Georgetown or lived here your whole life.... Be sure to stop by to say hello and
check out our lovely variety of
garden offerings as well as pantry provisions and great wines. We work
hard to keep our prices as low as possible and you will always find the
freshest produce around in season! We go to the greenhouses, farm
fields and orchards daily to bring you beautiful garden plants, the best sweet corn, sweetest
strawberries, and much, much more! You will quickly discover how
nice it is to shop at the Farm instead of driving into Bath!

By sea... pick up a mooring in the
harbor, or tie up at the wharf... (be sure to check which ones are
available). The Farm is a short 4/10th
mile walk
straight up the main road from the Five Islands Wharf and
Lobster Company. You will round a curve and see us on the left.
Once found... You will be delighted with the beautiful array of fresh produce, fine food, wine and garden items awaiting your discovery! Cheese Lovers will especially enjoy the wide selection of fine cheese. The Farm features one of the best selections of Maine Artisan Cheese in the State! |
